Welcome to this weeks #LittleLoves, sadly there isn’t a whole load to say as our house was struck down with the local sickness bug this week. The cross was firmly placed on the door and we have all spent the past seven days recovering. I haven’t spent a great deal of time doing much of anything other than cleaning whilst feeling delicate.
Read
Forgive me for I have sinned, I have read barely anything other than blogs this week. I have however spent a rather large chunk of time browsing Pinterest for various ideas.
I have finally got the hang of the virtual noticeboard and am actually enjoying pinning, posting upon and perusing Pinterest.
Watched
I am a bit behind with the times in terms of Television. Our satellite dish is temporarily out of action aka in the garage whilst the extension gets built and due to this I am reliant upon downloads and on-demand TV.
I therefore didn’t realise that the new series of Gogglebox had started the other week and have had the pleasure of ‘double bubble’ this week as my husband and I have caught up with the Gogglers behind the box. Thankfully I am now aware that Gogglebox has resumed and my Friday nights will be all the better for it.
Heard
Other than the radio blaring over the builders I haven’t really listened to anything specific this week.
Made
I have continued to supply the builders with a regular stash of sugar, this weeks cakes and bakes have included the all essential autumnal snack ‘Gingerbread’. I blumming love the smell of gingerbread baking in the oven, it seems to resonate throughout the house.
I followed the usual Bero recipe adding a tad more treacle which resulted in a rather sticky ginger loaf. The builders didn’t seem to mind as it all disappeared!
Wore
I seem to have developed ‘a thing’ for chunky knit cardigans recently. Last week I spent my pennies on my first ever short-sleeved cardigan and this week with the temperature dropping I have found myself returning to longer sleeve knits.
I often get teased by my children for living in cardigans. My kids once referred to a particular cardigan as my dressing gown as I wore it so often. I decided to treat myself to another oversized, chunky knit black cardigan to replace ‘the dressing gown’ in time for Winter.
And Lastly
After totally hammering my phone last week I realised that its high time I got hold of an external mobile phone charger, by which I literally mean a hand-held mobile phone charger which I can charge my rather power-hungry IPhone 6 Plus from when out and about.
The charger arrived this afternoon along with some new hair slides, new hair combs and some stocking fillers for the kids. God I love my post lady she always knows how to brighten my day!
Thanks again for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoyed this weeks #LittleLoves. If you fancy sharing your #LittleLoves then why not join in either through your own blog post or by leaving a comment below, I would love to hear what your #LittleLoves might be.

I have never heard of little loves before, love the concept. I love Pinterest, you can find all sorts of fun things on it. Sorry you have been feeling ill.. We’ve been struck down with something over the weekend too but I am feeling a bit better now and as I slept most of yesterday I am now awake at 1 in the morning!! Feel I need to hashtag something so… #blogoncarsharers!
Awww nice idea blogoncarsharers lol .
Oooh I didn’t know about this linky I really must blog using my laptop more. And Pintrest is the ultimate procrastination tool. Your gingerbread sounds heavenly your lucky builders!!
Thanks Jae
Oh dear, hope you are all feeling better now. Glad you still found some positives from a yeuchy week, especially the gingerbread cake which looks divine! I’ve got the big cardigans out too, mostly because I refuse to give in to a ‘big coat’ until it’s truly winter! I can feel it coming after this morning’s school run though! #LittleLoves
It was proper cold this morning. The picture wasn’t actually my gingerbread, ours was eaten before I got chance to snap it.
You know you are blogger when you get really excited about the postman. I do all the time. I need a good charger for my phone. Love love the black long cardy. Perfect for Autumn/Winter wardrobe. Have a lovely week ahead. #littleloves
Thanks Jenny x

Eek, sorry to read to that were all struck down with a sickness bug. It’s the time of year for it, there’s so much yucky stuff going round.
I’ve never made gingerbread cake but seeing yours has inspired me to give it a go. I think the girls would love it.
Hope you’re having a good week so far xx
