Welcome to another week of #LittleLoves, I am completely worn out this week more so than usual. I think I may be coming down with the dreaded cold that my children and husband have suffered with all week, here’s hoping it’s just a headache or hay fever as I’m really not up for getting sick.
So without further moaning, I will try to ‘stay positive’ and complete this weeks #LittleLoves for you, my lovely readers x

I have made a real effort this week to apply to some jobs, I keep saying how much I want to improve my career prospects and the only way forward was to sit down and take a look at my CV. I am absolutely useless at blowing my own trumpet and so CV’s aren’t my favourite thing to have to sit down and write, I much prefer to blog!
I already had a basic CV which I had typed out a few months ago, I updated this and threw it onto a few job seeking websites, I have applied to a number of jobs and am now sitting twiddling my thumbs wondering whether I will get any replies, I can only hope right?
Whilst I hate writing CV’s and therefore this shouldn’t really be featured on my #LittleLoves post, I love getting things done and dusted, ticking those ‘jobs to be done’ off the list. Now that I have an up to date CV floating around on a few websites it should make it easier in the long run to achieve my goals and that idea is certainly one that I love!

J has two birthday parties to attend this weekend, one of which is for a little girl and having just completed a load of pink bunting I decided to get crafty once again and to throw together some personalised bunting as a birthday present for this little lady.
I had everything setup, I had organised all of my fabrics and had even drawn out as a plan as I tend to do when making bunting. Somehow though I managed to cock-up the pattern order of the fabrics and whilst it may not be obvious to some of you, it isn’t ordered as it should be. I was absolutely adamant that I was going to start it all over again from scratch, I was so annoyed with myself for making such a rookie mistake! My husband somehow convinced me to keep it as it was and assured me that whilst it may be obvious to my eye it wasn’t to his and therefore should be alright for a young girls room. I really hope that he’s right and that the young lady in question likes it. If her Mum wants me to make another set then I’ll totally understand! Sods law that I would make a mistake, seriously how did I not notice whilst putting it together!?

Even Mystic Meg would have a hard time guessing what the weather may throw at us this week. As for the Met Office, they too like the weather seem to be ever-changing. As the weather can’t make its mind up it seems neither can I when it comes to my wardrobe decisions each morning.
I have spent this week wearing floaty tops should it be hot sunshine and a pair of jeans to keep my legs covered because nobody needs to see those. I have completed the ensemble with a warm cardigan should the temperature suddenly dive as it seems to do now and then and have kept a rain coat close to hand whilst out and about just to be on the safe side.
And Lastly
One thing that I really enjoyed this week was our family photo shoot with Jenna Carpenter. I don’t have any shots to show you of this just yet but when I do I am fairly sure that I will be happy to share them with you. Jenna always seems to take good photographs even when she is given next to useless subjects to shoot, by which I am referring to myself as my husband and children are not only photogenic but in my opinion blumming gorgeous no matter what angle you point a camera at them!
We began the photo shoot at Jennas house with a backdrop to get some formal-ish family shots and then we went for a walk in the fields to take some more natural shots. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Jenna for being so understanding when J had a mini melt down and for making our photo shoot such fun. I look forward to receiving and printing the photos once Jenna has finished her magic touches.
Thanks again for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoyed this weeks #LittleLoves. If you fancy sharing your #LittleLoves then why not join in either through your own blog post or by leaving a comment below, I would love to hear what your #LittleLoves might be.

I think the bunting looks lovely, and like your husband I actually can’t spot the mistake you’re referring to!
Oh my goodness I’m so with you on the weather front, it drastically changes within minutes doesn’t it?
Looking forward to seeing the photo shoot pictures!

The bunting looks fab and I only noticed because you pointed it out! I love the idea of getting crafty again but my to do list seems to be ever growing and it keeps being pushed down.
