It’s finally Friday and the Easter Holidays have arrived! What better start our time together as a family than hunting for chocolate eggs around the house?
The kids are now high as kites running around the living room smashing their Daddy in a sword fight. It’s all foam based fun of course. There’s lots of giggling, screaming and the odd squeal coming from downstairs, it’s Daddy time thus I’m happily hiding upstairs in the safety of the Office.
It’s that time of the week when I look back upon what we’ve been doing and reflect upon my #LittleLoves from the past seven days.

After sitting and chatting to J’s Teacher at my sons parents evening earlier this week I was handed his school report. I was delighted to read his Teachers comments, he has come on leaps and bounds this year! If I’m honest J is a totally different boy these days academically speaking and I am so very pleased with his progress.
J puts great effort into his School work, he is far more able to concentrate and to keep focus in lessons and whilst there are still a few areas in which he needs to make improvements I am so incredibly proud of how far he has come.
Watched
I have fond memories of spending my Saturday nights as a child watching the Noel Edmonds House Party, it was pure entertainment! There has been nothing comparable in terms of Saturday night television since the days of Mr Blobby and the gunge machine that was up until a few weeks ago…
Mrs Browns Boys is back and she (or should I say he?) has her very own Saturday night television show ‘all Round To Mrs Browns. I love Mrs Browns Boys, it’s one of my favourite comedy series which both my husband and I sit down to watch.
The BBC may have made some serious mistakes in the past but they have totally redeemed themselves by bringing ‘All Round To Mrs Browns‘ to a prime time Saturday night television slot.
Heard
Following organising and arranging my ITunes media I found masses of Music stored on my laptop which I simply had to burn to CD for the car. I began of course by burning a Princesses & Pirates Disney CD for the children to listen to whilst out and about, I then copied and burnt a few CD’s of my own to listen to on the journey to and from work.
Many moons ago I went to see Incubus play live at what was the MEN Arena in Manchester. God knows what they call it these days as it seems to change hands like I change socks. Anyhow, Radio 1 recorded their live set and I was lucky enough to get hold of a copy which sat on my hard drive until this week…
I am now in my element rocking along to ‘Drive’, ‘The Warmth’ and ‘A Certain Shade of Green’ as I navigate my way to work.

Blogging isn’t all about writing, there’s far more to it than that. Having being a blogger for some time I decided that it may be worth putting together all the information and advice that I have been given over the years in a series of topics to provide other bloggers with useful tips and such like.
‘Blogging Behind The Scenes‘, my new series was launched this Wednesday along with a Facebook group for bloggers to join and to share their tips, experiences and knowledge upon a range of topics which will be featured in a weekly series on my blog.
Wore
I’m not quite ready to don the sandals just yet but I’ve certainly been experimenting with footwear. Last Saturday I dusted off my legendary Demonia boots and finally put them to good use at a party.
As it turned out my boots seemed to attract a great deal of attention and I ended up having to shed my leather to allow the groom to be of all people to stomp about in my seven-inch clog hoppers. Hilarity ensued and I am not sure whether I will ever look at my beloved boots in the same light again!
And Lastly
It’s finally the end of term, Easter has arrived and we have a range of activities, play dates and such like arranged to keep ourselves occupied.
Paul has his eye glued to the garden which I will try my very best to give him time to work upon and the kids are ready to let loose, chill out and to finally have a much-needed break.
Thanks again for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoyed this weeks #LittleLoves. If you fancy sharing some of your own #LittleLoves then why not join in either through your own blog post or by leaving a comment below, I would love to hear what your #LittleLoves might be.

Oh I love Incubus! I was supposed to see them a few years ago but they changed the date of the gig and I was too pregnant to go so had to give up my ticket. Boo. I really hope they tour the UK again x
