Welcome to this weeks edition of #LittleLoves, apologies for the late post but my children have both been absent from school due to a random outbreak of gastroenteritis which seems to have bypassed my children thank god but has shut the school resulting in an unplanned family day rendering me exhausted.
You can tell Christmas is coming when the Smyths catalogue lands on your mat. Not only do the kids both love looking through all the amazing toys in this catalogue but I too get a little giddy too! I can’t wait for Christmas this year, partly because the extension should be done and dusted by then but mainly because Christmas is just magic isn’t it?
I finally got to see my all time favourite fictional character, Bridget Jones become a Mummy this week. Bridget Jones Baby was a fantastic film, far better than I anticipated and unlike most trilogies, it was on a par with the original movie in terms of comedy value.
The radio seems to have been a constant this week simply to drown out the sounds of the builders hard at work, well I presume and blinking well hope that that they have been working hard! My daily background noise seems to have differed between bangs, clangs and random eighties and nineties tunes blaring from the radio. You can’t beat a bit of Queens ‘I Want To Break Free’ when your cramped into a half-sized house and plagued by endless amounts of dust and dirt.
Whilst attending Blog On MSi I took part in some amazing sessions, one of which was hosted by Grace from EatsAmazing and focused upon planning creative blog content by finding inspiration from the seasons.
During the session we were asked to use a range of food items to create some creative christmas sandwiches, we were given either a reindeer or a penguin design to follow but for some reason I decided to screw the instructions and build a bear. I was pleased with the outcome and really enjoyed Grace’s session.
Grace blogs at Eats Amazing, after training as a Musician and then an accountant she finally found her passion in children’s food. Her blog is all about creating healthy, nutritious food which is fun for kids.
Whilst on the Asda run I spotted this chunky, sleeveless cardigan and decided it had to go in the trolley. I have never owned nor wore a sleeveless cardigan before and I have to say I love it!
As you’ve noticed I keep harping on and on about Blog On MSi, it was the first bloggers conference that I have ever attended and it made a huge impact upon me, as an individual and as a blogger. I am planning on writing a blog post all about the many things that I learnt from this conference in the near future.
I met so many other fabulous bloggers, here I am during one of the many sessions sat with ‘Little Pickles Mom‘, Maddy from ‘The Speed Bump‘, Amy from ‘A Different View‘ and ‘Angela from ‘Adventures in Websterland‘. I had an amazing day despite being awake for over twenty-two hours, I can’t wait to do it all again!
Thanks again for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoyed this weeks #LittleLoves. If you fancy sharing your #LittleLoves then why not join in either through your own blog post or by leaving a comment below, I would love to hear what your #LittleLoves might be.
