Welcome to this weeks #LittleLoves post, once again I am late to the party due to a rather poorly little E and a late bar shift. However, I am here and I have once again listed the little things which have struck me as particularly lovely this week.
Read
Christmas is in the air and also in the post so it seems as I received the Christmas edition of the ‘Ideal Home‘ magazine this week. I stuck the kettle on, grabbed a brew and had a good flick through all their festive ideas which were of course well out of my price range but still fairly inspiring.
I love looking at Christmas decorations dreaming of what could be. I really need to fill out my own decoration collection for the house but everything seems so damned pricy these days! I have some festive fabric left over from last year which I am hoping to make into cushion covers at some point in the next month or so which is a start I guess.
Watched
My husband and I love to have a laugh, comedy seems to be our preferred genre of television. We often find ourselves watching comedy based game shows to wind down before bedtime and have recently started watching ‘Task Master‘ on Dave each week.
If you haven’t seen it already, Task Master features four well-known comedians as the contestants to a rather hilarious set of challenges. I really enjoyed watching the latest episode, Task Master is comedy gold!
Heard
I have been an avid watched of the X Factor for many years now. One of the most deserving winners to have come from the show has got to be James Arthur. He is such a talented singer and songwriter, he has a quirky, gritty voice which I love listening to. I especially love his new single which seems to be getting some serious airtime on the radio recently, it certainly has been played a fair few times this week.
Made
E and I made some frozen-themed fairy cakes, I would have taken a photo of them but they were mostly eaten before I had the chance. E loves to be counter-height joining in with the day-to-day cooking and baking, it is a joy to be able to work alongside my daughter in the kitchen together.
Wore
My hair seems really thick recently, I am not sure whether it’s the weather or just that I need it cut. I have found that wearing hair combs is now a daily necessity to keep my hair from falling into my eyes.
I am currently rocking the brown hair slides as they seem to complement my hair colour.
And Lastly
The extension is a midges knackers away from being finished. There are only a few minor tweaks that need to be carried out and then we are ready to rock and roll on decorating the bedroom and en suite. Paul is desperate to get painting and whilst I want to go ahead and go for it, I am also well aware that Rome wasn’t built in a day.
We will get there eventually, it’s been a long six-seven weeks but it has all been worth it. I am looking forward to putting the finishing touches onto it all and settling into our new room sometime before Christmas.
Thanks again for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoyed this weeks #LittleLoves. If you fancy sharing your #LittleLoves then why not join in either through your own blog post or by leaving a comment below, I would love to hear what your #LittleLoves might be.

Your extension looks fantastic and blends in so well with the rest of your house. I bet you can’t wait to have it all finished now. I have never heard of Task Master but will keep an eye out for it. Have a good week x
The extension is ongoing for what feels like forever lol
I’ll have to look out for taskmaster as some of our favourites are in it. Thanks for joining in this week’s #littleloves
Thanks Kerri
What lovely Loves! Glad your extension is nearly done. I bought a Christmassy magazine last week too and enjoyed some me time with a cup of tea reading it!
Oh I love Christmas x
There I was innocently sipping my coffee reading your post and then you say ‘midges d*ck’ and I nearly choke on it laughing ! never heard that phrase before it’s ace.
Oh wow your extension is looking fab! It must be so exciting now that you’re nearly there. I love James Arthur too, he’s from my neck of the woods, and as you say, a very deserving winner of X Factor. I haven’t seen Task Master but it sounds like my kind of thing – I must check it out. #LittleLoves
It is hilarious have a watch !
All items are really very best but I have liked combs very much. These are seeming best according to my hairs. I want to buy these. can you tell me the price of these?
They were only a few pound on eBay
