It’s been an action packed week with very little time to sit back and to do much of anything other than to chase our own tails. Despite being ridiculously busy I will do my very best to find a few #LittleLoves from the past seven days or so to share with you.
Read
Whilst at the Blog On conference back in September I had the pleasure of meeting a rather lovely lady named Angela who blogs over at www.adventuresinwebsterland.com
I already followed and read Angela’s blog prior to meeting up at the conference but actually meeting Angela seemed to change things. I found myself returning to her blog more often and now tend to read Angela’s posts on a daily basis although sadly haven’t as much time to comment these days.
Angela recently wrote a post titled ‘Five things that annoy my two year old’ which I found myself instantly relating to having had a two-year old and being able identify with the many wonders of toddlerhood. Oh how I love reading fellow parenting bloggers for a giggle and some clarity.
Watched
E and I finally watched ‘Finding Dory’ this week. I love a good Disney movie and found the storyline to be really endearing as it touched upon special needs and certainly tugged at the heart-strings in places.
As always there was a happy ending leaving both E and I feeling wholesome and happy as the credits rolled.
Heard
I often select a CD to play in the car during my journey to work, this week I pulled out an old favourite which we picked up after listening to Brian Cristopher, a live singer whilst holidaying in the Algarve a fair few years ago.
Brian Cristopher is a singer and guitarist that tours around a wide range of venues within Europe covering a number of well-known songs. ‘Long Train Running’ is a particular favourite which I have bopped along to in the car for a few nights now.
Made
I must be a terrible Mother as I haven’t actually made anything other than a fuss this week. My other half has however spent time with the kids cooking some goodies for Children In Need.
I will get my ‘craft on’ this week with the leaves that we collected from the Woods, until then feel free to have a nosey at the hubbies Pudsey inspired bakes.
Wore
I have really enjoyed wearing my new ‘Michael Kors’ watch this week, it’s great to be able to wear a watch again especially such a stunning, sparkly tick-tock which I love so dearly.
And Lastly
I am pleased to announce that the builders have now ‘left the building’ and we have been given the go ahead to start decorating our extension. We have already base coated the walls with primer and have completed painting the bathroom a lovely shade of pebble grey. We have selected two shades of paint for the bedroom and decided upon the carpet and vinyl for the bathroom and bedroom floors.
Its full steam ahead and it’s all coming together rather nicely now, I cannot tell you how lovely it is to have a little privacy back. Don’t get me wrong, our builders were lovely but there’s only so many cups of tea and biscuits you dish out before wondering when you can slob out in your jim jams without an audience.
Thanks again for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoyed this weeks #LittleLoves. If you fancy sharing your #LittleLoves then why not join in either through your own blog post or by leaving a comment below, I would love to hear what your #LittleLoves might be.

It’s funny that even when you’ve had a full-on busy week, once you sit down to write about it, you realise how many good things have still happened. That’s what I love about #LittleLoves, and why I’m so grateful that you introduced me to it Rachel xx
