It’s Friday again and that can mean only one thing, it’s the weekend and of course time to reflect upon the past seven days identifying a few of my #LittleLoves along the way. So without further ado here goes…
Read
I spent the majority of my time last Sunday desperately trying to read the many name labels attached to the hundreds of bloggers milling around ‘Blog On‘, a national blogging conference which I attended for the second time around.
I learnt so much from the day but unfortunately one of the biggest life lessons I have learnt from that particular weekend is to make sure that things are definitely on charge when you plug them in and to watch the speed as you travel along sections of road marked with temporary speed alternations. Anyhow, other than the life lessons I also learnt a couple of tips and tricks which I am sure I will put into action on my blog somewhere along the way over the next few months or so.
Watched
Being an avid fan of Eastenders I have been looking forward to the release of ‘Red Water‘, an Eastenders spin-off based upon the story of Kat and Alfies’ journey to Ireland for some time now.
I began watching this series earlier this week and I am happy to admit that despite it being yet another soap opera I am utterly hooked!
Heard
With the summer sun beaming down it’s only right that the summer tunes have been blasting out! I don’t care how old or cheesy the Lambada may be, it still raises a smile and of course a couple of glasses on a warm evening.
Made
I’ve made quite a few memories in the past week, not all of them have been fantastic I will admit but there’s been some serious moments which will remain etched in my mind forever more. Blog On was one of these, I finally got the chance to catch up with my fantastic friend Angela from AdventuresInWebsterland and I look forward to doing so once again in October.
Wore
The weather has been simply incredible this week, the sun has been shining and as my good friend Charlie would say “Suns out, guns out!”. I’ve done exactly that today, sod conforming to normality because I may have been in my own back garden and yes I’m in the UK but the purple bikini set has made an appearance as has the sarong and I don’t give a damn!
And Lastly
As I mentioned in my previous post J had a fantastic birthday and party last weekend. It was a fantastic day not only for the kids but also for us adults. I didn’t go all out as I have done in the past and do you know what? It worked far better than ever before, the whole day seemed far more relaxed and in honesty far more enjoyable. As they say (and rightly so) ‘less is more’
Thanks again for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoyed this weeks #LittleLoves. If you fancy sharing some of your own #LittleLoves then why not join in either through your own blog post or by leaving a comment below, I would love to hear what your #LittleLoves might be.
