So it’s the end of April already, it seems it was yet another month that flew by at lightning speed though it wasn’t half bad all in all. Here are a few of my #LittleLoves from the past thirty days or so.
Read
Given that I spent the first half of this month reading through a mountain of GCSE coursework, I’ve tended to stay clear of further books or texts for the time being. I have however purchased a couple of Textiles-based books which I am sure I will put to use shortly, though I’ve opted to give myself a little break for the time being.
Watched
April has certainly been the month of good television; Paul and I made our way through several trending Netflix series including Beef and Obsession. I then completed watching the final season and the very last episodes of Workin Moms. Meanwhile, J has been devouring episode after episode of Only Fools and Horses on Prime, it’s such a classic but wonderful comedy show – nothing quite beats Del Boy does it?
Heard
After what was an incredible concert last month, I’ve spent most of April listening to my all-time favourite singer Tori Amos and even better – she released a brand new single ‘Tequila’ (a dancey little number) earlier this month which I’ve since added to my playlist.
Made
Whilst Paul was busy putting together and making an epic egg hunt for the kids at Easter, I was busy baking a rather special cake for his ‘big birthday‘. It tasted awesome and didn’t look half bad either, though it didn’t last the day!
Wore
With the weather finally resembling something a bit like spring, I’ve finally ditched the hats, gloves, and scarves in favour of a lighter jacket. It may be sunny but it’s not entirely warm as of yet though so I’m sticking to my casual and cosy jeans and jumpers for the time being. I did however treat myself to a new top whilst strolling around the shops in my local area and I love how floaty and flattering it looks to be.
And Lastly
April was the month of milestones so it seems as Paul turned forty, E spent time away on her first outdoor-based residential trip, and J selected his options for his GCSEs. Thankfully we had the Easter holidays which gave us all the time to rest, relax, and have some fun together as a family.
Thanks again for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoyed this month’s #LittleLoves. If you fancy sharing some of your own #LittleLoves, then why not join in either through your own blog post or by leaving a comment below, I would love to hear what your #LittleLoves might be.
