My goodness me, April sure seemed to fly by in the blink of an eye! We’ve enjoyed almost an entire month of glorious sunshine which was perfectly timed for the easing of the lockdown measures. With the wonderful weather, the lighter nights, and a fortnights holiday things are beginning to seem that bit brighter. To celebrate, here are a few of my #LittleLoves from the past month…
Read
As you may have gathered (if you are a regular reader of this here blog), I like to dabble in the art of divination and am an avid Tarot card reader. This month I received some beautiful new rune stones along with a couple of snazzy rune card decks, all of which I’ve been putting to good use as part of my daily readings.
Watched
Having completed watching the entirety of Brooklyn Nine-Nine Paul and I are now left flicking through Netflix desperately trying to find something worth watching. Thankfully BBC came to the rescue as ‘Call The Midwife‘ made a welcome return earlier this month and it’s at least given us a series for Sundays.
Heard
Both Paul and I have been enjoying listening to the latest London Grammar album, though I’m a little disappointed as I was offered the opportunity for early bird tickets for their upcoming tour. However, I declined the offer due to covid and the risks that live concerts may involve. Having spent the past few weeks listening to and loving the tracks from their latest album ‘Californian Soil’ I’m now kicking myself somewhat.
Made
It’s been quite a productive month in terms of crafting, what with Easter and the fortnights holiday that we had. E, my Mum, and I spent quite some time working upon an elaborate easter egg display, we’ve baked easter nests, we’ve made and followed easter treasure maps, we’ve baked cookies, cakes, and all sorts of treats. On top of all that, I’ve been busy with my blog as I transferred both my hosting and theme to alternative companies and I have since spent a fair few hours tweaking and twiddling with the colour schemes, code, and such-like in order to achieve what you see here. I’ve also set up a second Instagram account specifically for my Tarot and divination pictures and paraphernalia – April has most certainly been the month for creativity!
Wore
With the ever-changing weather, I’ve been constantly yoyoing from wearing winter to summer clothing, though for the past three weeks we’ve been blessed with the most glorious sunshine and I’ve rather enjoyed being able to leave the house wearing a cardigan and shades, rather than a heavy winter coat.
And Lastly
April has been busy busy busy; it was Pauls birthday, we had Easter, we had a fortnights holiday at home, we’ve spent quite a few days out enjoying walks with my Mum and the dogs around the local area, and now we are back to our regular routine, though thankfully with the lighter nights, it now feels as if we have a few extra hours each day to get the endless lists of jobs done and dusted.
Thanks again for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoyed this month’s #LittleLoves. If you fancy sharing some of your own #LittleLoves, then why not join in either through your own blog post or by leaving a comment below, I would love to hear what your #LittleLoves might be.
