We’ve had an incredibly busy but fun-packed April. With Easter, the half term holidays, Paul’s birthday and the day-to-day grind, we simply haven’t had time to stop – it’s been enjoyable but exhausting! So without further waffle, here are a few of my #LittleLoves for this month.
Read
I’ve continued to work my way through Fern Cotton’s ‘Happy’ and have almost finished this book but otherwise I’ve simply not had the time to sit and to read. I keep promising myself to make time, I’ve had my Kindle out on the side charging numerous times yet fail to relax and to read.
Watched
My husband and I binge-watched the latest season of ‘Derry Girls‘, an irish sit-com featuring a range of phenomenal soundtracks from back in the day. If you’re a fan of comedy, The Cranberries and The Corrs then this will be right up your street!
Heard
Since the kids watched ‘Spiderman Into The Spider-Verse‘ we’ve had Post Malone & Swae Lee’s ‘Sunflower’ played on repeat on a daily basis. Whilst I didn’t watch the film myself I rather like the soundtrack.
Made
Having become bored with my previous blog-design I spent time (and far too much effort) drawing, designing and putting together a new logo and colour-scheme for my blog. Should you be a regular reader you may have noticed the aesthetic alterations, I’m not sure whether I’m entirely happy with the finished result but it’ll do for the time being.
Wore
I started this month wearing brand new, fur-lined boots and I finished with wearing flip-flops. The weather has been changeable to say the least, either way my fashion is currently mid-season as I’m never quite sure what to wear due to the variable weather conditions.
And Lastly
We’ve had the most awesome time together as a family recently – We’ve spent days out and about around the Lakes, we’ve enjoyed movies at the cinema, we’ve shared birthday celebrations, we’ve taken trips to Blackpool, we’ve had nights out, family photo shoots and we’ve had an amazing Easter. It’s been a truly awesome April!
Thanks again for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoyed this months #LittleLoves. If you fancy sharing some of your own #LittleLoves, then why not join in either through your own blog post or by leaving a comment below, I would love to hear what your #LittleLoves might be.

Haha yes I think the weather was a bit drunk in April wasn’t it? The Easter weekend was glorious though – it sounds like you really made the most of it and had lots of time together as a family which is what it’s all about really isn’t it? Hope May is equally as lovely for you.
Sounds like you have had lots of lovely family time last month. I have got the Happy book but not started it yet, never read a book by Fearne Cottom but looking forward to reading it. Hope you had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend x
