It has been a pretty bleak week truth be told. I haven’t really had the heart nor inclination to sit down and write and therefore this weeks #LittleLoves may be lacking somewhat, like myself in many ways.
Read
I haven’t read diddly squat this week, not a single sausage! Most of my reading has taken place through the sending and receiving of messages from friends and family.
Watched
Paul and I enjoyed watching the first episode of John Bishop’s new chat show ‘In Conversation With…’. The series began with John interviewing James Corden, I’ll be honest we weren’t sure whether we’d be all that interested as James can be similar to marmite at times as you tend to either love him or hate him.
I watched the whole show and enjoyed every moment, despite there being moments when James came across as slightly arrogant, there was also some really poignant, personal and fairly interesting moments regarding James personal beliefs, religion, faith and family tradition.
I have put the show on series link and look forward to watching John carry out further interviews with other celebrities. John’s style of interviewing seemed far more personal, thoughtful and endearing than other chat show hosts I have watched in the past.
Heard
Having spent time with the kids ‘on the farm’ this week I have very fond memories of hearing a rather loud cow ‘mooing’ followed by fits of giggles from my two children. Their laughter is infectious, I challenge anybody to hear it and not to smile.
Made
I try my hardest to keep to tradition and to send out thank you letters from the kids and I for birthdays and Christmas to thank friends and family that sent gifts.
I have finally got around to drafting a template for a ‘Frozen’ themed thank you letter which I will get printed and sent out shortly.
Wore
I had my nails infilled and recoloured by the beautiful Becky this week. I absolutely adore the colour, it’s far more subtle and seems to suit my colouring.
And Lastly
I really am not feeling it at all this week, there’s so much going on around me at this current moment in time. I guess the one thing I would like to add to this post is how grateful I am, for my family, my friends, my readers and for just being here really.
Thanks again for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoyed this weeks #LittleLoves. If you fancy sharing your#LittleLoves then why not join in either through your own blog post or by leaving a comment below, I would love to hear what your#LittleLoves might be.

I’m getting there now, give me a week or two and I’m sure things will get better
Sorry to hear that you are feeling down lovely. I hope that you have a better week next week. I often feel like this and just need a break from all things blogging. I normally take a week off, look after myself a bit and then I feel better. Hugs Lucy xxxx PS. I love that nail colour. Gorgeous for the beginning of Autumn.
Thanks Lucy xxx
I’m so sorry things are not so good for you at the moment. I really hope it gets better for you soon. You are brave to share your feelings here. Plus, your nails look fantastic, and I can almost hear the joy in your children’s laughter from here! Hang on in there Rachel xx #LittleLoves
