It’s Friday yet again and of course time to list my #LittleLoves. It’s been yet another busy week for Paul and I, we have done so much that it’s all a bit of a blur really.
The kids have finally finished both school and nursery for the Christmas holidays and we can finally start to wind down or should I say rev up for Christmas. Let’s hope now that we have some time together we can relax!
Read
I haven’t had time to read much of anything this week. After making endless applications to jobs over the past month or so I finally received an invite to an interview which will take place in January.
I’m not sure what the pay, hours or even duties really entail but it’s still an exciting prospect to kick off the new year.
Watched
On Monday Paul and I had a blast from the past as we drove down to The Manchester Arena to watch both Limp Bizkit and Korn play live.
Heard
Whilst listening to Limp Bizkits set in Manchester we were played some interim Music from DMX. It’s been a long time since I’ve listened to ‘Party Up In Here’.
Made
E and I got festive in the kitchen this afternoon, we whizzed a batch of Mince pies together and whilst we were rolling pastry we also threw together a few jam tarts which were shortly guzzled up by the troops.
Wore
E was very kindly invited to a Christmas party at the Nursery she attends. I selected a simple Christmas patterned swing dress with some black leggings and boots.
I also bought a matching dress which I wore on the same day as the party to surprise E when I collected her from the party.
And Lastly
The bedroom is finally finished with all furniture and finishing touches complete. It seriously feels like we are staying in some sort of posh hotel room and I flipping love it!
We treated ourselves to a rather beautiful flicking candle LED canvas for the head of the bed which seems to bring the room together. I love anything twinkly and this canvas certainly seems to fit the bill!
Thanks again for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoyed this weeks #LittleLoves. If you fancy sharing your #LittleLoves then why not join in either through your own blog post or by leaving a comment below, I would love to hear what your #LittleLoves might be.
