Quality Is Key With Children’s Clothing

If there’s one thing that I feel strongly about when it comes to clothing for our children it is ensuring that the clothes which they wear are high quality. Kids clothing needs to be hard-wearing and able to withstand the test of time, being regularly washed and occasionally taking a quick spin in the tumble dryer when needs must.

E was recently sent two rather beautiful pieces of clothing (a reversible, long-sleeved top and a pair of pants) from Sense Organics to wear, share and review.

My Mini Model

E was more than happy to act as a model, strutting her stuff up and down the corridor whilst I desperately tried to get some half- decent shots of the Sense Organics clothing. I must say, she did a fine job as I’m sure you will appreciate from the photos included within this review.

E suffers with eczema which can often be affected by the clothes that she wears. Any low quality, scratchy, itchy or wool materials can often cause issues with E’s skin. For this reason, quality and comfort is key when it comes to dressing our daughter.

The Dolores Girls Flowers And Snowflakes Reversible Long Sleeve T-Shirt

The Dolores Girls Flowers And Snowflakes Reversible Long Sleeve T-Shirt is a beautiful top featuring a pretty, floral and snowflake, winter-style print. When reversed this top can also be worn in a berry red, block colour.

Made form 100% organic cotton (certified by GOTS), this skin-friendly single jersey long-sleeved top feels soft to the touch and is apparently very comfortable to wear.

E really liked the ‘super soft’ feel of the top, she also seemed to like the print which teamed with a pair of navy leggings I thought looked really stylish.

The lovely thing about this top is with it being reversible, it can be worn in two ways and if required reversed whilst out and about for an alternative look or to hide any spills which little ones are prone to collecting upon their clothing.

The Dolores Girls Flowers And Snowflakes Reversible Long Sleeve T-Shirt can be machine washed at thirty degrees. Having washed this top, I found that it came out of the washing machine like new, without any fading or bleeding of colour.

The Kids Ikat Print, Talia Sweatpants

The Kids Sweatpants in Ikat Print (Talia) are made from 100% organic cotton (certified by GOTS) and feature an elasticated waist, two slanted front pockets.

Teamed with a simple t-shirt or vest for a casual look ,these bold yet beautiful pants are bound to make your little one stand out from the crowd. Not just stylish but supremely comfortable, the Ikat Print Sweatpants look and feel fabulous to wear.

We found that these pants fitted E perfectly, she seemed very comfortable and happy to wear the sweatpants and has since selected these to wear regularly throughout the week whilst playing and relaxing with family and friends.

The Kids Sweatpant in Ikat Print (Talia) can also be machine washed at thirty-degrees and having washed these twice already I have found that these wash really well coming out looking like new.

Sense Organics Nappy Cream

As I previously mentioned Sense Organics produce a range of clothing and natural health products. As part of the review, Sense Organics also sent me a sample of their ‘Vanilla & Zinc Nappy Cream’.

The rash cream is made from zinc and a blend of previous vegetable and organic oils to provide a soothing, protective film which protects the nappy area against moisture loss and soreness.

As we are thankfully out of the ‘nappy years’ we were unable to put this product properly to the test. However, I have had a quick sniff of the cream and tried a small patch on my own hand. It smells really nice, feels very thick and I would imagine that it would be really soothing for little ones if used correctly.

Our Final Thoughts

As a parent I love the clothes which were to E by Sense Organics, they are high quality, beautifully designed and provide perfect comfort for our little lady. E also seems to like her Sense Organics clothing which we were very kindly sent and has chosen to wear this top and pants regularly ever since.
