I swear to god the last few weeks before the end of the summer term are crazy busy, I don’t seem to be able to differentiate between my ass and my elbow at this present moment as there is so much going on.
First things first the kids are great, E is completely back to normal following her recent fall which is super-duper. J has managed to blow me away with his willingness to partake in his school fun run and this morning he made my heart swell with pride as he crossed the finish line full of smiles.
Now for the more complicated matters, we have finally pushed the gigantic bowling bowl down ‘extension alley’ following receiving planning permission for the build to take place. We have since spoken to the money men and it seems that we are on track to book the builders and make a start on turning our forever home into our dream home. It’s all fairly stressful to say the least and I have to admit that I’ll be happy once I no longer  need to waste hours of my time on the telephone to random bankers (I mean that in the kinder sense of the word) regarding our future in terms of finances.
There is so much that I’d like to achieve in the next few years all of which requires planning, effort and whole lot of money. Whilst we aren’t rolling in it, I would like to think that we could possibly tick a few boxes off my ‘lists’, the extension is only the very beginning but its a huge start and I am sooo excited to see it turn from a dream into a reality.

Woo that sounds like a huge undertaking but exciting, too. Hope all the building goes smoothly and you have your dream extension soon 🙂

Good luck with the extension – it might seem stressful at the time but it will be so worth it when you have all that lovely new space to make use of! xx
