It’s officially the season to be jolly fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la! The advent calendars were neatly laid out this morning ready for the kids to snack on chocolate before breakfast because that’s what Christmas is all about right? Having eaten todays chocolate allowance E then proceeded to fill her wooden advent calendar with Shopkins, she sure knows how to make a massive mess in less than a minute!
The kids were over the moon that December has finally arrived, it means that we can decorate the house for Christmas and count down to the big day.
I am 99% done in terms of Christmas shopping and J and I have completed writing hundreds of Christmas cards which are now sat on the piano ready to be sent. I made a rather large online grocery order earlier in which is included a few books of stamps so that I can get another job done and dusted.
As for wrapping and labelling gifts, I haven’t even started yet and despite it only just being December I already feel pretty stressed at the idea of how much there is to do! I literally have two wardrobes stacked to the rafters with gifts that I need to wrap, label and put into bags. God knows when I am going to get it all done but hopefully, sometime in the next week or two, I might find a child-free hour or two to get friendly with Mrs Scissors and Mr Sellotape.
I am super-duper organised as always but have a niggling feeling that there is something I have forgotten. At least I have just over three weeks to figure out what I might have forgotten and to load up the sleigh. Ho! Ho! Ho! Happy December!

Don’t panic!! I’m sure you won’t forget anything and hopefully you will get your child free hour to wrap away! Hope for more than that though cos by the sounds of it you’ll need several!! Enjoy the upcoming season it’s a special one!! ????
Thanks Karen, I do need some serious time but with E being off nursery with a chest infection and my many appointments I have had seconds to myself to collect my bag before dashing here and there. Madness !
I want to sort all the parcels out tonight into piles for wrapping so the kids can do some with me tomorrow night for relatives
I love December and all of it’s twinkliness, it’s my most favourite month of the year when everyone is just a little bit nicer 🙂
I love that it’s snowing on your blog too!! #tuesdaytreasures

I dread the wrapping wish I could stick it all in gift bags and be done ! It will be nice to have the wardrobe space back I’ve also hidden some presents elsewhere and forgot about them oops ! #WotW
Oh the bloody wardrobes, it’s a nightmare isn’t it ?
I’m glad I’m not the only one that lets their kid eat the chocolate in the morning! #tuesdaytreasures
It appears that you have Christmas more under control than I have. I’ve yet to work out what my parents would like!!#TuesdayTreasures
