My Targets For 2023

So here are, it’s a new year and with that, it’s time to turn the page and look at 2023 as an opportunity to start afresh.

Whilst 2022 started fairly well, it soon became an incredibly difficult and emotionally draining year for our family. Still, we achieved a fair amount during that time, and whilst it wasn’t easy, I’m proud of our achievements.

With 2023’s arrival I felt it was the right time to write a new list and make new plans for our future together as a family. So without further ado, here are my targets for 2023.

1. Repaint and re-carpet E’s room with a gold/ red Harry Potter theme
2. Refurnish E’s room with IKEA Kallax-style storage (to replace her outdated pink/ white kiddy-style storage)
3. Repaint and re-carpet J’s room in purple and green
4. Repaint our own bedroom in silver
5. Recarpet the stairs
6. Make use of my treadmill and lose some weight through diet and exercise
7. Sort and tidy the attic (skipping all the rubbish we no longer need)
8. Reboard the attic
9. Add facia boards to the front of the house
10. Have a fantastic family holiday in Florida
11. Learn a new language (Spanish)
12. Continue regular reading to relax
13. Enjoy more time out as a couple
14. Learn a new recipe
15. Embrace being forty without fear
