The A-Z Of Me

I would like to think that I am pretty self-aware. I certainly what I like and dislike and I know that I love a ‘Tag post’ that’s for sure! So when I saw a few bloggers posting tag posts titled ‘The A-Z Of Me’ I thought why not jump on the band wagon and give it a shot myself?

Likewise if you fancy taking part in this tag then please by all means go ahead but be sure to let me know so I can have a read!

The A-Z Of Me

A is for Arty

I love painting, drawing and anything crafty so I guess that makes me an ‘Arty’ kinda gal.

B is for Blogger

No shizz Sherlock! It’s fairly obvious from reading this post that I am indeed a blogger.

C is for Coca Cola

I am a Coke addict by which I do not mean that I have a drug dependency. I am a huge fan of the sticky, black stuff which was once Coca Cola but has now been swapped for Coke Zero a far lighter and less sugary version of the original drink.

D is for Dark

If you happen to see me at any point I will no doubt be wearing mostly black. It’s my favourite colour in terms of fashion as it quite slimming and goes with anything!

E is for Eccentric

I’m the first to admit that I am far from the ‘norm’. I’m quite happy with being different,  I’d much rather stand out than be the same as everyone else anyhow.

F is for Fun

I am the girl who wants to have fun pretty much all of the time. This can cause issues at times but it’s far better than being boring!

G is for Ginger

Nuff said…

H is for Home

I am a home bird, I love our house and greatly enjoy spending time pottering around the house cleaning and such like.

I is for Intense

I have been told that at times I can quite intense, I guess this is just a part of who I am.

J is for Journal

Since being very little I have always kept a journal which I write on a daily basis.

K is for Kind

As the saying goes “If you haven’t got anything kind to say then don’t say anything at all”. I have spent enough of my time as a child, teen and early adult being the brunt of bullying and very unkind behaviour. You would expect this to have resulted in me being unkind but thankfully this is not the case. Unfortunately though I am often too kind for my own good and end up being walked all over like a giant door mat.

L is for Loving

I love my husband, children, family and friends with a great passion. They rock my World and I love them endlessly.

M is for Mum

I am incredibly lucky to be a Mummy to two beautiful children. It is the one thing in my life that I am proud of and pretty much all that I tend to talk about…

N is for Night Owl

I am a self-confessed night owl. I tend to work best at night-time but unfortunately this often results in me being a total grump the next morning. If only there were a few more hours each day!

O is for Ovaltine

From being a very young baby right up until present I start my day with a mug of Ovaltine made like an instant coffee. It sets me up for the day and is a life long ritual which I doubt I will ever shake.

P is for Piano

Since the age of seven I have spent time learning how to play the piano. I now have a beautiful baby grand in our living room which I really should play more often. One day I hope to return to lessons to finally get my Grade 8.

Q is for Queen Of Organisation

I am the most organised, punctual and ridiculously anal person you will ever meet. I have a diary for this, a list for that, a schedule for the other and my life is organised by the minute to the minute.

R is for Real

When it comes to me, I guess what you see is what you get.

S is for Sewing

I enjoy small sewing projects such a bunting, cushion covers and such like. I only started sewing a few years ago but following purchasing my very own sewing machine I have grown to love it.

T is for Teacher

I spent three years at University training to be a Teacher and following qualifying I obtained a job in a local school. Sadly after seven years I was made redundant. I then found another teaching job close by which also came to an end a year or so ago.

I have since signed up to supply agencies who have provided me with diddly squat in terms of work and have therefore had to earn my pennies through other channels such a bar work.

Whilst I may not be currently working as a Teacher I am still teaching and supporting my own children on a daily basis and will always be a Teacher at heart.

V is for Vlogger

Over the years I have created videos to record our family memories. These ended up being shared online and somehow progressed into me becoming a part-time Vlogger. I’m not a massive YouTube freak but I do like to dabble with IMovie now and then.

W is for Writer

As you probably gathered through reading my blog, I quite enjoy writing. I find writing to be rather therapeutic especially from a bloggers point of view.

X is for X-rays

I have had so many X-rays that I can barely keep count. I suffer with a weird condition that resulted in me having pioneering surgery on my hand to graft bone from my hip and pelvic area to reconstruct my index finger.

Each and every time I visit the x-ray department for whatever reason I am suddenly asked numerous questions from students regarding the images of my hand which externally looks totally normal but internally is a medical students dream come true.

Y is for Young

I am be in my thirties but ‘upstairs’ I will always be twenty-one. As far as I am concerned age is just a number and whilst the years seem to be whizzing by I will always remain young at heart.

Z is for Zzzzzzz

Nicknamed the ‘dormouse’ I am well-known for being a bit of a bed bug. I remember the days when I could sleep until lunch time,  those days are well and truly over but I still love my bed!

An A-Z is a great idea. I’m not the most organised person in the world, but I do love a good to do list. I hope you get somewhere with finding a teaching job soon, if that’s what you want to go back into. #tuesdaytreasures

Lovely to read, the one drink I really cannot drink is Coke! Any other fizzy drink is fine, but I just can’t handle it! #TuesdayTreasures
