Six Wishes For My Princess On Her Sixth Birthday

Our beautiful, little Princess turned the grand age of six-years-old today. I’m not sure where exactly the time went to, but E is no longer a baby, nor a toddler, she’s now a fully-fledged all-singing, all-dancing, little diva and I couldn’t be prouder of our Princess.

Over the years I’ve celebrated E’s birthday by writing letters and sharing photos on this here blog. However, I recently read a beautiful post written by Natalie from ‘Confessions of a Crummy Mummy‘ sharing her eight wishes for her daughter’s eighth birthday, and I decided I’d ‘borrow’ this idea…

So without further ado, here are my six wishes for my daughter on her sixth birthday…

1. I wish for you to be happy

I don’t care whether you become a brain surgeon, a hairdresser, a waitress or a pop star – so long as you are happy I’m happy. You already bring so much happiness into our lives, you truly are our little sunshine,  I wish you happiness at home, work and wherever you may go.

2. I wish for you to be healthy

You are such an amazing little lady, you love to run around, dance about and to climb anything which makes my heart race. I wish for you to have health throughout your life and to enjoy your body, to embrace your body and to love your body. Remember – You ARE the most beautiful girl in the World.

3. I wish for you to sing

You have such a beautiful little voice, whether you’re singing along to the Frozen soundtrack, the songs on the radio or Jo Jo Siwa on your Alexa – you’re voice makes me smile. Singing is such a fantastic thing to do, whether it’s in the shower, in the car, in your bedroom or on stage – singing will always make you feel good.

4. I wish for you to be brave

Life is a rollercoaster, there are the ups, the downs and all the bits in-between. Be brave, be bold and never let anything or anyone hold you back.

5. I wish for you to have fun

What’s life without having fun? Have fun wherever and whenever you can – life is so much better when you’re having fun!

6. I wish for your dreams to come true

Dream and dream big, anything is possible and as the saying goes “Shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars”.

That’s my six wishes for you listed, which leaves me with one last thing to say – Happy Birthday Princess xxxxxx
