Our gorgeous little girl turned eight years old yesterday, she woke full of excitement at 5.30 am and after eventually settling for a couple more hours of sleep, she woke to a living room filled with presents, cards, balloons, and decorations galore. As you can imagine she delighted and spent no time at all unwrapping her gifts.
We had visits from her Grandparents in the morning, then later in the afternoon, we celebrated by hosting a hot tub party for E and a few of her family and friends. The weather was bizarrely beautiful, the drinks were flowing, the food and cake were appreciated and eaten, and a good time was had by all.
It was a great day, it was so nice to be back in the company of family and friends celebrating together, it was just great to see everyone and will be a memory that I will hold dear.
