Now the kids are back at School, I am finally getting myself back into some form of routine and it feels really good. In just three days I’ve managed to get a shit load of jobs done and hopefully come this time next week when E starts her ‘morning’ School routine I might just find a little time to myself.
Despite E being out of the house for only two hours each afternoon I still miss her terribly and it doesn’t matter how many people tell me that she’s settled and safe, I cannot help but to worry. The first week of the Easter break is officially over. It’s been great having the kids at home, they’ve really needed the rest after working and of course playing so hard at School and Nursery.
Despite our shifts at work and the mixed weather we seem to be having, we’ve done our very best to keep the kids entertained both inside and out over the week.

It’s Monday again and with the start of another week brings another #LivingArrows post. Living Arrows is all about celebrating childhood, the project originally took its name from a poem written by Kahil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”.

The new sofa from Harvey’s FINALLY arrived following a five month wait. We are still waiting for the matching recliner chair, but that’s another matter. As expected the delivery men managed to catch me in my dressing gown, shiny with sweat from having lugged the old sofa to the opposite end of the room and hoovering the space where it had once been which was littered with raisins, Cocoa Pops and other random kids snacks that had managed to sift through our previous sofa.… Read more from this post
