So the kids went back to School today and whilst I fully intended to dash around the house at double speed cleaning from top to bottom following a full on half term holiday I decided that a few hours curled up with a cuppa and the soaps wouldn’t hurt anyone.
As it turns out I’ve now caught up on a weeks worth of my all time favourite Aussie soap and after having a little rest I was far more motivated when it came to transforming what was a total tip into a house to be proud of.
Despite being known for being the ‘parent with the plans’ I must have lost my sh*t before half term because somehow it seems my kids also lost half their belongings.…
Half term has finally arrived, we haven’t a great deal planned other than simply to spend time together and enjoy each other’s company.
It’s not often that we can ditch the school run in favour of dossing around but that’s precisely what we plan to do! Even so I can almost guarantee that this week will be busy as always.
Despite it being bitter out we wrapped up warm and headed out for a winter walk to the local nature reserve this afternoon . The kids certainly seemed to enjoy the fresh air, the dog too for that matter.
Having parked the car we very quickly realised that the recent floods may cause some commotion, the kids were fine with their walking boots whereas I on the other hand hadn’t thought ahead and was stupidly wearing my Ugg boots for whatever reason.…
It may be the middle of winter but that doesn’t stop our kids from having a blast along the beach with the basset in tow.
Whilst I’m not a fan of the cold, you simply cannot beat wrapping up warm and heading out for a winter wander to blow the cobwebs away.
Where’s there’s no sense there’s obviously no feeling as our kids don’t seem to care less how wet or windy it may be outdoors, they are happy to run wild which is precisely how it should be.
I’ve spent the majority of my weekend working and wedding shopping with my gal pal Vic, meanwhile Paul got the kids back out to the beach for a skit along the shore.…
With having had E off from school for the majority of the past week we’ve had very little time to spend snapping shots out and about.
Don’t get me wrong we’ve had plenty of fresh air but we were too busy to stop for snaps. We have however indulged ourselves in the odd Snapchat session to beat the boredom whilst being stuck indoors during E’s recovery.
Although he can be a right little toe rag at times such as when he picked and pealed our Sky remote to pieces earlier this week our son J seems to be making super progress in his School work of late.…
You may have noticed that this weeks edition of #LivingArrows has changed somewhat in that the amount of weeks stated has increased. I was recently notified that whilst there are fifty-two weeks in the year there is in fact fifty-three Mondays throughout 2018 and therefore I will be posting fifty-three #LivingArrows posts, not fifty-two as I had first thought. Apologies for any confusion that I may have caused…
As you may have read in my past post, our little lady E has been rather unwell and as a result we’ve spent the majority of our time indoors tending to her every need as she has convalesced in our care that and ordering us around like servants for the best part of the weekend. …
