#LittleLoves – The Crystal Maze, Christmas Lists & Chav Boots

I was hoping that once the kids were back at School that I’d have a little more time to myself but other than having a quick brew and the banter with my bestie I’ve had very little time to do much of anything.

Although she has only attended afternoon sessions throughout the past week, E seems to have settled really well into School, she has one more week of ‘half-day sessions’ before she will be fully immersed into School life. Give it another fortnight or so and I’m hoping that we will fall into a regular routine which should allow for a little ‘me time’.… Read more from this post

#LittleLoves – Misheard Lyrics, Manic Street Preachers & Starting School

Well bugger me it’s Friday again! I guess I’d better put the wine down for a moment and figure out a few #LittleLoves from the past seven days or so.

Other than emails, texts, social media and such-like I haven’t read a great deal at all. I must start reading more often and now that I have a little extra time given that E has recently started School I guess I’ll have plenty of time for reading in the near future. I guess on that note I should take a look at my Kindle and download some ‘autumn reads’ to get stuck into!… Read more from this post

#LittleLoves – Sleepovers, Hair Styles & Software

So here we are in September already, autumn is literally just around the corner and the weeks are whizzing by at lightning speed. The dreaded ‘C’ word was mentioned last night as I worked yet another bar shift and at that point we were still in bloody August!

It wont be long though before the nights draw in and the shops are filled with festive Music, although it’d be nice if they’d at least held on until after Halloween this year! So rather than focusing upon the future I’d best take a moment to reflect upon the past, the past seven days to be precise for this weeks edition of #LittleLoves.… Read more from this post

#LittleLoves – Theres No Place Like Home

Apologies for posting so late but I’ve been ├╝ber busy catching up on the housework since returning home from Majorca, that and I’ve been working unusual shift patterns to fit around numerous social gatherings all whilst trying to keep two children entertained. Either way I’ve had very little time to do much of anything! Whilst I’m sat with laptop in hand, here are a few of my #LittleLoves from the past seven days or so…

Having spent just over a week wiping my watery eyes each and every time I applied sun tan lotion I’ve since spent a fair amount of time reading up on the various ingredients of various lotions and potions.… Read more from this post

#LittleLoves – Majorca Madness

The sun is now shining and we’ve finally been able to enjoy the heat whilst lazing on the loungers, splashing in the pool and scoffing ice creams by the bucket load.

The kids seem to be loving every minute of the madness here in Majorca meanwhile I’ve had a little head space and time to relax away from the daily grind which believe me was much-needed! Anyhow less holiday waffle and onto this weeks #LittleLoves…

I haven’t read a great deal in all honesty, I keep dipping in and out of my Kindle app but moments later lose interest as I’m finding reading much of anything fairly arduous thanks to my eyes once again reacting with the sun tan lotion leaving me half blind yet again.… Read more from this post

#LittleLoves – Emilie Sande, Plaits, Pigtails & Phones

I’m going to do my very best to make this weeks edition of #LittleLoves short and sweet as we are child free which is extremely rare and quite frankly I wish to make the very best of the time that we have without the whining. So here goes…

Rather than reading books this week I’ve found myself learning lyrics. I love reading lyrics, much like poetry lyrics are littered with life’s ‘significant moments’ often fuelled by raw emotion which leaks from the songs as they are then shared.

I’m a great lover of comedy as you probably already know from reading past posts.… Read more from this post
