Our little lady spent the majority of last week being the star of the stage both at school, where she was Morris dancing in her Christmas concert and at the local theatre, where she wowed us all with her impressive tap and ballet dancing. It was a busy week for our little lady but thankfully the holidays have now arrived and she’s finally able to rest and relax, I wish I could say likewise as I’ve still got another day to get through before I can switch off the alarm for a week or two. Whilst I’d love to say …

Looking at all my friends photos online, I feel kind of bad that most of my shots tend to get snapped indoors at present. Don’t get me wrong, my kids and I are outside regularly whilst at play. However, it has been so cold recently that we’ve not been outside for too long before heading back indoors to thaw out. Apologies therefore if my pictures come across as bland and boring. As part of E’s extra curricular activities, we have spent time playing a few maths games together – one of which she was extremely excited about playing and has …
It’s been a whirlwind of a week, we have barely stopped to catch our breath. Both the kids and us adults are completely and utterly exhausted, we are most definitely on count down to the end of term, though even then it’s going to be busy as there’s still so much to get done before the big day. Paul and E on the other hand were stripped down to the bare essentials giving it their all as they bopped along to the XBOX. It wasn’t long before J had joined the kidsĀ I am including my husband in this statementĀ to dance along to a game prior to settling down for supper. E had laid a …
I have been meaning to write-up our ‘Cheesefields’ shenanigans for the past week or so but haven’t found the time until now. In case you are wondering ‘Cheesefields’ is an annual gathering come mini-festival event which two of my good friends have hosted for a number of years now. Derived from the well-known ‘Creamfields’ festival, Cheesefields is a much smaller-scale back garden based event which we were very kindly added to the guest list for and invited to attend. Cheesefields may be small-scale but the planning and effort put into organising and planning said event takes many weeks and a …
