Here we are on yet another Sunday sharing yet another photo. Happy Sunday folks, it’s officially the end of yet another weekend and whilst I haven’t done an awful lot other than work bar shifts and nurse a hang over and half I’ve at least enjoyed my weekend for once. The weathers been a bit off and although I’d love to be out in the garden getting drunk on the making use of the decking we’ve spent most of our weekend catching up on the housework and keeping the kids entertained with board games and such like indoors. Given that I’m feeling like crap warmed up I’ve not really felt much like snapping photos this weekend. I did however have a little time earlier in the week to get close up and personal with the flowers at my in-laws. I love the colour red but am sadly unable to wear anything of this shade or colour as being a ‘ginge’ it clashes terribly with my hair. I have often toyed with the idea of buying a pair of red heels or a red handbag to accessorise my daily shades of black. I guess a little colour may brighten …
The smells of freshly cut grass and distant BBQ smoke wafted in the air as I knelt upon my in-laws garden, camera in my hand snapping photos of the flowers whilst bathing in the mid-afternoon sun. The kids were busy happily running amuck along the lawn as the dog dawdled happily behind them sniffing each and every plant pot as she went by. The weekend is once again over, Sunday has almost come to a close and despite having ticked off numerous chores from the never-ending list I feel absolutely no satisfaction whatsoever. I know, it sounds far too much like that classic Rolling Stones track, whether it’s the weather, a touch of tiredness or just a bout of the blues, I’m craving the five B’s (biscuits, Baileys, Bridget Jones, blogging and my bed) all of which seem to do the trick when I’m feeling this way out.
