I am afraid it’s going to be a bit of a rushed #LittleLoves post, I am half way through packing for our mini-break to London and have yet to tick numerous jobs off the list before bedtime.
I somehow seem to fitting more and more into each day than seems humanly possible. At some point by mid-December I may possibly collapse from exhaustion but until then I will soldier on somehow.
Read
The majority of my reading this week has either been blogs, catalogues, news articles or to-do lists. I have simply been too busy to read anything of any length.
I have however spotted a book which I would like to add to my Christmas list hint hint Paul. Whilst out doing the mid-week grocery shop I spotted the new Bridget Jones Baby The Diaries book. At first I assumed it was a recovered version of Bridget Mad About The Boy, I thought wrong!
Watched
The second serious of Ordinary Lies began airing on BBC One this week, I have been looking forward to this for a while now having loved the first series.
The stories in the first series were pretty gripping but the second series seems even grittier. After watching only a few minutes I was completely hooked and cannot wait for Episode Two!
Heard
I attended J’s first parents evening in the Juniors. His teacher was full of praise and we all came home with big, proud smiles. It was a delight to hear such lovely words being said about J, I am so very proud of him.
Made
E and I made some rather tasty Marshmallow Toffee Krispy Cake whilst carrying out a product review.
The builders certainly seemed impressed with the results as they polished it off fairly promptly.
Wore
I ordered a new necklace a few months ago online and have been expecting it to be delivered for some time now.
The necklace finally arrived this week and I love it! It jazzes up a casual outfit with that bit of bling which is ideal for the autumn look.
And Lastly
I have finally got my shizz back together and have reinstalled organisation into my life. I have always used a diary A Mums Office Diary to be precise. I tend to write all the important dates, appointments, and such like into my diary and then transfer the information onto the family planner on the wall each week. This has worked up until recently as I tend not to carry my diary out and about with me I need a bigger handbag to carry it all in, any excuse for a new bag right ?
I could no longer cope with finding myself confused and dazed with the day-to-day of life. I needed structure and fast, I decided it was time to go digital and get to grips with the Apple Calendar app.
I spent an hour or so creating particular calendars for each person in differing colours. I then added every appointment, important date and whatever else into the calendar in hope that I might get a grip of some sort.
I am now able to add, edit, view and to delete appointments etc from my phone (which is always in my bag), from my Mac or even from the IPad should I wish. I have added my Calendar app to my phones lock screen and can now see when and where I am meant to be with ease.
So far so good, I love all the different colours for each person. I also love being able to quickly check my phone to clarify each days plans. I just wish there was an easy way to share my calendar with my husband who uses an Android phone. Oh well you can’t win them all!
Thanks again for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoyed this weeks #LittleLoves. If you fancy sharing your #LittleLoves then why not join in either through your own blog post or by leaving a comment below, I would love to hear what your #LittleLoves might be.

Yay for the small wins! 🙂 I’ve not read any of the Bridget Jones’ books. Are they any good? Better than the films?
Far better than the films x
Wow loving your organisational skills!! I could do with that!
And also I didn’t know there was a new Bridget Jones book either til you said so I shall add that to my Xmas list too! Xx
Hope it’s a good book !
Wow you are really getting organised – good for you! I just can’t do electronic organisation, I’m such a pen and paper girl! I do have a Mum’s diary though, with me on one side and the rest of the family on the other. I absolutely LOVE your new necklace – it was definitely worth waiting for! Hope you’ve taken it to London with you for its first outing? #WotW
I have xxx
You can’t beat that feeling of being organised can you, especially at this time of year when it starts to get busy. Have a lovely break in London. We went in the summer and had a fantastic time with the kids #littleloves x

Great organisational skills. My husband has done this for us and despairs of me when I say I prefer writing things down the old fashioned way!
I’ve just watched last weeks Ordinary Lies and really enjoyed it. The last series of it was great, and I had no idea there was a new one.
Hope you’re having a good week x
It’s been a tiring but fab week x
