Welcome to this weeks edition of #LittleLoves filled with family, fun and new beginnings. I feel like the dark cloud that seemed to loom over our heads is slowly lifting and we are now able to move forward and to make a fresh start.
I haven’t really had the time to sit and delve into a book of any sort. Instead I have spent time catching up on some of the many blogs that I follow, Rainbeaubelle being one of which.
Julia is a journalist, blogger and Mum of two, she originally began writing her blog simply to document the things that she enjoyed in life such as fashion, style, food, photography and her beloved family.
Julia has been through a hugely traumatic time recently as she sadly lost her husband Roger to cancer, despite all of this Julia has continued to write as she finds it helpful along with the support that she has received.
I cannot get over how brave Julia has been through this whole ordeal, I have ultimate respect for this lady and am an avid fan of her blog. Julia’s blog posts are filled with sadness, survival, shoes, smiles and strength all of which are a joy to read.
My husband and I spent some much-needed time out watching ‘My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2‘ the other night, it was as expected fairly cheesy but also bloody funny at times. Having a good laugh was precisely what we needed to blow the cobwebs away and this film certainly did the trick.
My husbands all time favourite band is Korn, we have seen them play live a few times but over the years have declined a couple of chances simply because it was easier to stay at home and to look after the kids rather than to book a sitter and travel two hours to Manchester.
We booked our tickets this morning for the Manchester Arena and have since been enjoying reminiscing by listening to some of the classic tracks from both bands.
I am rather excited to be attending ‘Blog On‘ next weekend at The Manchester Museum of Science & Industry. I decided it was probably a good idea to order some business cards to take along with me for the event.
Using the logo for my blog I created custom designed business cards which I then ordered and had printed through Moo.
It didn’t take long for my order to arrive, I wasn’t sure what to expect but was really pleased with the final result. I was particularly impressed with the quality of the cards and would certainly recommend Moo to anyone considering ordering business cards.
I wasn’t sure whether tan would suit my colouring as I usually tend to stick to black. I think they look alright considering they aren’t what I’m used to. Paired with jeans or jeggings I would even go as far to say that they look pretty good!
I became an Auntie for the third time last night, I am absolutely over the moon and am now desperate to meet the little man.
Following the good news, I have spent this afternoon finding and booking accommodation at the Premier Inn for a few weeks time when we will travel ‘Down South’ to visit my in-laws and to of course meet the new addition!
Nothing beats a new baby being born, it takes me right back to when we had our kids and makes me realise just how bloody fast time flies when you’re in the thick of it.
Thanks again for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoyed this weeks #LittleLoves. If you fancy sharing your #LittleLoves then why not join in either through your own blog post or by leaving a comment below, I would love to hear what your #LittleLoves might be.
