#LittleLoves – Family, Fun & New Beginnings

Welcome to this weeks edition of #LittleLoves filled with family, fun and new beginnings. I feel like the dark cloud that seemed to loom over our heads is slowly lifting and we are now able to move forward and to make a fresh start.

#LittleLoves - Family, Fun & New Beginnings

I haven’t really had the time to sit and delve into a book of any sort. Instead I have spent time catching up on some of the many blogs that I follow, Rainbeaubelle being one of which.

Julia is a journalist, blogger and Mum of two, she originally began writing her blog simply to document the things that she enjoyed in life such as fashion, style, food, photography and her beloved family.

Julia has been through a hugely traumatic time recently as she sadly lost her husband Roger to cancer, despite all of this Julia has continued to write as she finds it helpful along with the support that she has received.

I cannot get over how brave Julia has been through this whole ordeal, I have ultimate respect for this lady and am an avid fan of her blog. Julia’s blog posts are filled with sadness, survival, shoes, smiles and strength all of which are a joy to read.

Watched

#LittleLoves - Family, Fun & New Beginnings

My husband and I spent some much-needed time out watching ‘My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2‘ the other night, it was as expected fairly cheesy but also bloody funny at times. Having a good laugh was precisely what we needed to blow the cobwebs away and this film certainly did the trick.

Heard

#LittleLoves - Family, Fun & New Beginnings

My husbands all time favourite band is Korn, we have seen them play live a few times but over the years have declined a couple of chances simply because it was easier to stay at home and to look after the kids rather than to book a sitter and travel two hours to Manchester.

However, we recently discovered that Korn are once again touring alongside Limp Bizkit, another of Paul’s favoured bands and quite simply life is too bloody short to turn the opportunity down.

We booked our tickets this morning for the Manchester Arena and have since been enjoying reminiscing by listening to some of the classic tracks from both bands.

I am rather excited to be attending ‘Blog On‘ next weekend at The Manchester Museum of Science & Industry. I decided it was probably a good idea to order some business cards to take along with me for the event.

Using the logo for my blog I created custom designed business cards which I then ordered and had printed through Moo.

It didn’t take long for my order to arrive, I wasn’t sure what to expect but was really pleased with the final result. I was particularly impressed with the quality of the cards and would certainly recommend Moo to anyone considering ordering business cards.

Wore

#LittleLoves - Family, Fun & New BeginningsI love an Ebay bargain and after scouring the internet for some well priced, good quality ankle boots I finally found these Vagabond bad boys.

I wasn’t sure whether tan would suit my colouring as I usually tend to stick to black. I think they look alright considering they aren’t what I’m used to. Paired with jeans or jeggings I would even go as far to say that they look pretty good!

And Lastly

#LittleLoves - Family, Fun & New Beginnings

I became an Auntie for the third time last night, I am absolutely over the moon and am now desperate to meet the little man.

Following the good news, I have spent this afternoon finding and booking accommodation at the Premier Inn for a few weeks time when we will travel ‘Down South’ to visit my in-laws and to of course meet the new addition!

Nothing beats a new baby being born, it takes me right back to when we had our kids and makes me realise just how bloody fast time flies when you’re in the thick of it.

Thanks again for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoyed this weeks #LittleLoves. If you fancy sharing your #LittleLoves then why not join in either through your own blog post or by leaving a comment below, I would love to hear what your #LittleLoves might be.

The business cards look great, and definitely represent your blog well. I hear a lot of people snagging Ebay bargains, but have yet to ever shop in there myself – I need to check it out. Also, congrats on becoming an Aunty again!

I am so sad I can’t be at blog on next week. I was supposed to go and than babysitter pulled out, granny is in ireland and hubby in the usa so I have to stay home now. So sad I always get so much from it. Enjoy!!!! Love the boots. Autumn is here and yet I can’t seem to find the right boots for me this year. Need to go shopping for the winter wardrobe soon. But enjoying our rather late summer arrival at the moment. Business cards look great hun. Congrats on becoming an Auntie so fun to spoil them and send them back to your siblings. I love buying my neices and nephews things and filling them with sugar or the loudest toys for christmas just to win my own back from my siblings who do it to my children too hahaha. Sibling competition never ends in a funny way. hahah Love it. Have a great weekend. Just popping over so late forgot to link up on Friday with the MAD blog awards on so catching up now.

I love Julia’s blog too, she is so lovely isn’t she?
Your business cards look fab, I always use Moo and have never been disappointed. Wish I could make Blog On this weekend but unfortunately it clashes with the half iron man my husband is doing and there’s no way I’d be able to miss out on cheering him on! 😉 xx
