#LittleLoves – Boohoo, Beauty & The Beast & Bracelet Making

Paul and I have just arrived back from a ‘child-free’ evening at the cinema, despite being surrounded by kids whilst we were there reminding me that we were missing our own little treasures I really enjoyed the time out being just the two of us. It’s not often that we get a night to ourselves but when we do we certainly make the most of it!

This week seems to have been ram jammed with random activities for both the children and ourselves, it may have been busy but at no point has it been boring! Here are a few of my #LittleLoves from the chaos which has been the past seven days.… Read more from this post

#LittleLoves – Little Princesses, Lego & Lunch Box Madness

And just like that another week has flown by! I’m sure as hell that time speeds up as we get older because it feels as if I’ve barely slept since last Friday. Mind you saying that I haven’t really slept very well at all this week with E having caught the latest bug doing the rounds.

Thankfully E seems to be on the mend now but following a week sharing a bed with an octopus, I am still in Zombie mode so bear with me as I try to pull together a few #LittleLoves to share with you.

I’ve barely had time to fart this week never mind read a book!… Read more from this post

#LittleLoves – David Walliams, Victoria Wood & The Comedy Of Life

Seriously has it been a week already? Friday has certainly flown in this week that’s for sure! What have I been doing for the past seven days? Well mostly running around like a blue arsed fly trying to warp the speed of time to fit in a few extra chores here and there.

It’s been an endless catch up game since recovering from my recent sickness and sadly its left very little time for pleasure. I will of course reach for the positives and try to fish out some #LittleLoves from the swamp of self-pity.

I myself haven’t read an awful lot myself this week but I have enjoyed reading with the kids, particularly David Walliams ‘The World’s Worst Children’.… Read more from this post

#LittleLoves – Pancakes, Pirates & Pyjamas

I’m afraid this weeks #LittleLoves post isn’t filled to the brim with positivity. It’s been a pig of a week in terms of sickness and stress for us all. I came down with some sort of virus last week and rather than fighting it off my body decided to let it move in, unpack its belongings and make itself right at home.

Thankfully I have finally been prescribed some antibiotics and am getting back on track bit by bit but it’s really taken its toll on my body both physically and mentally. So here goes with trying to find a few #LittleLoves somewhere within the seven days of suffering.… Read more from this post

#LittleLoves – Bugs, Rugs & Bad Weather

Half term has been a total waste of time thanks to the entire household falling ill with the local bug which has struck each one of us in turn throughout the week. It seems that it is now my turn to suffer with the flu like symptoms rendering me early to bed on the one night that we are kid free thanks my parents who are kindly babysitting.

We have all these great plans and ideas but when the time arrives we are pissed upon from a great height. Bloody typical isn’t it?

Despite little old Doris waving her fists outside whilst we were festering indoors feeling like death warmed up, we’ve somehow managed to make the best of a shitty situation and enjoy our time together as a family.… Read more from this post

#LittleLoves – Cards, Checks, Crafting And Time As A Couple

Can you believe that it’s half term already? It feels as if it was only Christmas the other week yet Valentines Day has already passed us by and we are now rolling like out of control Easter Eggs towards Spring.

I’m starting to wonder whether some kind of ‘fast forward function’ is secretly activated upon becoming a parent. Each time another kid is added to the mix the speed is magically increased rendering you unable to distinguish a week from a weekend.  Time just seems to slip away and it’s bloody frightening!

To save wasting further time I’ll get to the point and share my #LittleLoves from the past seven days but feels more like two or three days in all honesty.… Read more from this post
