#LittleLoves – Birthdays, Bikinis & Blog On

It’s Friday again and that can mean only one thing, it’s the weekend and of course time to reflect upon the past seven days identifying a few of my #LittleLoves along the way. So without further ado here goes…

I spent the majority of my time last Sunday desperately trying to read the many name labels attached to the hundreds of bloggers milling around ‘Blog On‘, a national blogging conference which I attended for the second time around.

I learnt so much from the day but unfortunately one of the biggest life lessons I have learnt from that particular weekend is to make sure that things are definitely on charge when you plug them in and to watch the speed as you travel along sections of road marked with temporary speed alternations.… Read more from this post

#LittleLoves – Mr Men, Pirate Cakes & London Grammar

Well it’s officially the eve of my son’s eighth birthday and as you can imagine it’s been a fairly busy week with birthday preparations and such like. Time is literally flying by, I seem to have very little grasp upon the day-to-day goings on, I really need to sort myself out, get a grip and get back on the ball as seven days seem to pass me by in the blink of an eye and I find myself desperately pondering my #LittleLoves during that time.

Having fed the kids supper, washed them both in a hot, bubbly bath I then settled them down to read a few stories both of which were ‘birthday based’ given that J turns eight-years old tomorrow.… Read more from this post

#LittleLoves – Tangled, Tea Tree & Taster Sessions

Please excuse my lack of posts throughout the week, the weathers been tropical and as a result I’ve spent the majority of my week soaking up the rays with the kids out and about having fun. The rain made a come back this afternoon which in all honesty was a relief as my sun burn was beginning to get sun burn!

Without further do I’ll do my best to rake together a few #LittleLoves from the past seven days or so.

I promised myself that I would hit the books and get back to the my ‘book worm’ tendencies but other than the odd magazine, online articles and the odd email I can’t say I’ve read much of anything.… Read more from this post

#LittleLoves – Soaps, Trips, Weight Loss & The Cranberries

Welcome to this weeks edition of #LittleLoves, a weekly post in which I share a few of the things that have raised a smile or tickled my fancy throughout the week. Good god that sounds wrong but hey ho I’ve had a few to drink and the words are running pretty freely. I’m not sure what is worse drunk texting or drunk blogging? I’ll let you decide…

I spent most of the week carefully studying and rereading my sons residential itinerary and packing list prior to his trip which he arrived back from this afternoon. Other than that I haven’t read a great deal unless you count numerous texts and emails.… Read more from this post

#LittleLoves – Boohoo, Tori, Ellie & Mr Manford

Friday’s here again, the first week of the new term has flown by in a flash. I can’t say that I’ve done a great deal in reality but as I do I’ll give it my best shot at finding a few #LittleLoves from the past seven days or so.

Read

I picked up my Kindle with the full intention of re-reading Sophie Kinsella’s Shopaholic series last week but then seemed to lose track somehow.

I haven’t really read much of anything since unless you count reading lyrics to sing along to at the piano.

Watched

With the daily routine kicking in I’ve found very little time to watch anything other than the odd soap on the box.… Read more from this post

#LittleLoves – Shopaholics, Pirates & Hear Say

So Easter has been and gone, the holidays are almost over and just like that we will back to the usual routine come Monday. They say time flies when you are having fun and this past fortnight has certainly been that and more!

My husband very kindly handed over his Kindle PaperWhite earlier this week. I was originally planning to buy a few new books to read but then opted to delve into some of my past favourites for a re-read.

Sophie Kinsella’s Shopaholic series was first to pop up on the list and I have since downloaded the very first book to enjoy all over again.… Read more from this post
