As March comes to a close, I’ve spent a little time looking back upon the past month gone by. So much has altered and changed that my life as I knew it is barely recognisable.
As always I will endeavour to share some of the many things which I have ‘Liked and Loved‘ throughout the past month.
Getting Back Into The Classroom
As you may have read in my previous instalment of ‘Liked and Loved’, I was recently offered a temporary ‘Teaching Assistant’ role which I have continued to carry out over the past few weeks. I have since gone on to apply for a contracted position which I was successful in attaining.…
Where on earth did February go to? It may be the shortest month of the year but it barely feels as if it’s been a week since we were in January. Saying that we have done all kinds of things both in and out of the house throughout the past month, we’ve certainly been busy bees!
As always at the end of each month, I sit down and take a moment to reflect upon a few of the things which I have ‘Liked and Loved’ so without further ado here is this months effort.
I Have A New Job!
After two years of desperately trying to find a new job (ideally work within the Education sector) I finally made my lucky break, as I was offered a casual Teaching Assistant role within the local Primary School in which I have been working on a voluntary basis.…
Here we are at the end of January, the nights are beginning to lengthen as Spring edges ever closer yet the weather is still brass blumming monkeys as always for this time of year.
I feel as if I haven’t achieved a huge amount throughout January, that said there has been plenty to ‘Like and love’ throughout the month some of which I’ve listed below.
Paul and I have been meaning to update the living room furniture for some time now, having managed to persuade our daughter E to allow us to move her beloved kitchen into her play hut we then had the space available to do so.…
With Christmas gone and the New Year moments away I thought I ought to take a little look back at December and to list a few of the things that I have ‘Liked and Loved‘.
The Christmas Show
With it being E’s first year at School I had the chance to view both of my beauties in this years Christmas show and what fabulous acts they were! E looked adorable in her camel outfit, J looked awesome is his dog attire and put together they both rocked my socks off.
Given that the in-laws no longer have a shop to sort on Christmas Eve Paul and I decided to change things around a little this year.…
And just like that we have arrived at the end of November! With just one month of 2017 left to go I’ve started considering what might be in store for 2018…a new year, a new start and all of that. It won’t be long before I sit down to write my list of ‘new years resolutions’ but for now I will reflect upon what has been November by documenting all the things that I have Liked and Loved throughout the month.
We began the month with a bang by joining our friends and family at the local Fireworks display.…
